New Vision Eye Hospital hosted its 1st My Vision Club, myopia awareness project initiated by myopia clinic, as the myopia epidemic increasing worldwide. It was conducted on 9th September 2023 at Green Dine Resto, Chotty, which was inaugurated by Poonjar Constituency MLA, Adv. Sebastian Kulathungal, in which we introduce to “MY VISION CLUB ”, our full-scope myopia awareness project of myopia clinic at New Vision Eye Hospital with an aim to flatten the myopia curve.
This workshop provided a platform for children and parents to explore myopia awareness and latest innovations in myopia progression control therapy. Additionally, it offered the chance to interact with eye care professionals, clinical experts, and Essilor experts (The company that makes “Stellest lenses,” a well-known brand of spectacle lenses that controls myopia progression) and personality development trainer.
